Trio Hélios

After meeting at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, Luka Ispir, Raphaël Jouan, and Alexis Gournel founded  Trio Hélios in 2014. Since then, they have played at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including the Philharmonie de Paris, Wigmore Hall, Salle Cortot, and the Phoenix Hall in Osaka.  We are excited to welcome them to the Gatineau Hills as part of their debut Canadian tour.  Their programme will include three classics of the piano trio repertoire, beginning with the raw energy of Beethoven's "Ghost" trio, moving through the passionate lines of Rachmaninov's first piano trio, and culminating in Ravel's monumental piano trio: a true symphony for three players.
